Hello, I’m Dr. Ron Schlicht and I’ve been Principal of Rolling Hills Elementary School since 2018. I am honored to lead an incredibly diligent, thoughtful, and caring group of teachers and staff. New students and families will love the personal approach we take to learn about and teach every child to their strengths.

 

I earned my Bachelors Degree in Mathematics and certification in Secondary Education from Cardinal Stritch College in Milwaukee. I continued my education to earn my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction as well as my principal's licensure from Concordia University in Mequon. I have also completed my Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership from Edgewood College in Madison.  In addition to being licensed as a pre K-12 principal, I am also licensed as a director of curriculum and instruction as well as superintendent by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

 

Prior to Rolling Hills, I taught mathematics at the high school level for 23 years while also coaching multiple sports. I also acted as an associate principal at Mukwonago High School for seven years and principal at Eagleville Elementary Charter School for four years.

 

My wife and I have two beautiful children.  My daughter completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management and my son is pursuing a degree in Technology Education.  For pets, we have two ragdoll cats. When not at school, I enjoy attending classic car shows.
